Biesse Group is a company that designs, manufactures and distributes systems and machines for processing wood, glass, stone, metal, plastic and composite materials. It is listed on the STAR section of the Milan Stock Exchange and today signed an acquisition contract to acquire 100% of the quotation of Forvet Costruzione Macchine Speciali SpA, a manufacturer of specialized automatic machines for glass processing.
The transaction value is about 41 million euros and will be mainly regulated in cash at the end of this year.
According to Biesse Group's strategic plan, this business will increase the product portfolio of glass processing centers. The group has been using Intermac brand technology to enter this field since the second half of the 1980s. In fact, thanks to the introduction of Forvet SpA's proprietary technology, the group has strengthened its products for the high-end market by providing highly automated, customized and unique machines and systems.
"This is a strategic acquisition that allows us to improve the scope of glass processing centers through complementary industrial solutions that can be perfectly combined with our technology to provide modular production lines and automation systems for technologically advanced customers. Ensure a high level of productivity and flexibility" said Roberto Selci, CEO of Biesse Group.
Forvet SpA was established in Volvera, Turin in 1990. It is a unique benchmark for automated production lines on the market and internal logistics operations that can be customized according to customer needs.
